I was lucky enough to live in Mexico City for half of 2018. In May 2023 I returned for the first time since I left, sampling lots of new spots I've been stalking on instagram in the proceeding years plus revisiting old favourites.

We stayed in the boutique hotel Ignacia Guest House which is tucked away in the chic neighbourhood of Roma Norte. The decor of the whole hotel was obviously a drawing card, the property features 9 uniquely designed suites along with several areas to relax or dine within the small compound including a rooftop heated plunge pool which overlooks the jacaranda trees lining the street below.

We had originally intended to visit his other site Casa Organica which sadly at the moment is closed to the public.
Parque Quetzalcoatl is an on-going project with the gardens open to the public through guided tours. There is accomodation on site which is partially privately owned and as well as a few spots available to book through AirBnb. If you stay on site you have access to the incredible gardens. Parque Quetzalcoatl is roughly a 45 minute taxi ride outside of central CDMX.
